Internships
Congressman Moore’s office is always accepting internship applications from college students and recent graduates. The intern program provides firsthand knowledge about the legislative process and an opportunity to develop research and communication skills in the public policy space. First District residents and students or recent graduates from Utah universities are given preference, regardless of major. Students may receive academic credit for their internship.
Our office offers internships in the Washington and Ogden offices for the following sessions:
- Spring (January – May, pending House calendar)

- Summer (May – August, pending House calendar)

- Fall (September – December, pending House calendar)

Intern Responsibilities:
An intern in the Washington office may:
- Answer phones and log constituent comments
- Draft constituent correspondence
- Provide tours of the U.S. Capitol
- Attend hearings and conduct policy research
- Complete projects as assigned by the Congressman or staff
An intern in the Ogden office may:
- Answer phones and log constituent comments
- Work with executive branch agencies
- Assist with office outreach and military academy nominations
- Conduct policy research
- Complete projects as assigned by the Congressman or staff
