House Republican Conference Vice Chair
House Republican Conference Vice Chair
In November 2023, Congressman Blake Moore was elected to replace Speaker Mike Johnson as Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference and made history as the first Utahn to ever be elected to House or Senate leadership. In this role, Vice Chair Moore is uniquely positioned to bring a voice from the Intermountain West to the leadership table.
As Vice Chair, Congressman Moore helps members of the Republican Conference amplify messages to share how House Republicans are addressing the many challenges facing Americans, from crippling inflation to the crisis at our southern border. Vice Chair Moore hosts a weekly Republican Special Order on the House Floor and co-leads monthly member professional development events with House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik. He also uses his position to invest in staff development initiatives, including monthly skills training events and communications guidance and tools.
