Project Description: Construction infrastructure to support F-35 Maintenance Facilities, F-35 Composite Repair and Training Facilities, and a T-7A Maintenance Complex.
Taxpayer Justification: This construction request is to build the F-35 T-7A East Campus infrastructure project, which will be used by the Ogden Air Logistics Complex at Hill AFB to perform aircraft fighter repairs. The mission includes major industrial operations at Hill AFB for depot level maintenance of the nation’s fifth generation aircraft. The existing infrastructure and utility capacities cannot currently support the incoming workload.

Project Description: F-35 Canopy Repair Facility
Taxpayer Justification: The facility will provide a world class facility for the repair, maintenance, and modification of fifth generation aircraft low observable canopy assemblies. This project will also relocate and consolidate F-35 canopy workload – consolidation which will significantly reduce depot facility energy consumption, operating costs, and logistic/schedule movements within the Air Force Sustainment Center.

Project Description: The funding would be used for the construction of a 4-million-gallon tank to address the city’s growing water needs by enabling the capture of additional spring water, thereby ensuring a sustainable water supply for future expansion and enhancing fire suppression capabilities.
Taxpayer Justification: The project would be a valuable use of taxpayer funds because North Logan City, a rapidly expanding urban area, faces challenges with its culinary water system due to its heavy reliance on weather patterns and recurring droughts.

Project Description: Funds would be used to revitalize and update Tremonton’s main street and boost economic activity in a the rural city.
Taxpayer Justification: The project would be a valuable use of taxpayer funds because it will encourage the development of unused or underutilized properties; help existing downtown businesses become more successful by increasing foot and car traffic; and increase economic activity thus increasing sales tax revenue to fund city roads, parks and recreation, and essential operations that improve the quality of life in the city without the need to increase taxes.

There is an urgent need for qualified entry-, mid-, and skilled-level workers to meet industry demands and national security needs. Providing a career pathway for constituents will secure individual income potential and contribute to local economic development and strengthening U.S. national security and supply chains.

Collaboration with neighboring entities helps to significantly reduce the tax burden on residents as this is a necessary public asset that will be a shared-use, regional facility.

Project Description: The funding would be used to replace Roy City culinary water transmission lines.
Taxpayer Justification: The investment in the Roy City Waterline Replacement is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because it will replace Roy City culinary water transmission lines, preventing contamination caused by leaks and or breaks in the pipe and minimize utility improvements after the upcoming road widening of SR-108, an important roadway in the area.

Taxpayer Justification: The investment in the Paradise Parkway Corridor project represents a valuable use of taxpayer funds because it will address critical issues facing the town: traffic congestion, roadway safety, economic impacts, and growth management. This project will not only improve safety and traffic flow, but also pave the way for a more prosperous and sustainable future for the town.

Project Description: The funding would be used to replace 20 high-floor light rail vehicles with low-floor vehicles, improving accessibility and reliability.
Taxpayer Justification: The investment in the Utah Transit Authority TRAX Light Rail Upgrades project is a valuable use of taxpayer funds because it will upgrade light rail vehicles to improved, Olympics-ready modern, accessible, comfortable, safe, and reliable rail cars. These improvements will vastly reduce risk of structural and mechanical failures, improve accessibility, reduce maintenance expenditures, enhance emergency equipment, and improve service run time.

Project Description: This funding will be used to purchase 10 acres of property and associated water shares to build park space adjacent to the new junior high school.

The park will provide a common community facility and bring additional revenue to the city by attracting additional visitors.
