Congressman Blake Moore Releases Debt and Deficit Task Force’s 2022 Recommendations

OGDEN – Today, Congressman Blake Moore and his Debt and Deficit Task Force released their 2022 recommendations for how to address our nation’s debt and deficit crisis. The Task Force is comprised of members from Utah’s First District who are proven leaders across several industries and offer a wide array of experience to bring Utah’s values and principles to the conversation on how we can reverse our national debt crisis.  

“I am deeply concerned about our country’s debt and deficit crisis and want to use my role in Congress to improve our national fiscal outlook for the next generation,” said Congressman Blake Moore. “I am grateful to the members of our Debt and Deficit Task Force for their hard work on and commitment to putting these recommendations together as we seek to reverse America’s debt culture. I look forward to sharing these recommendations with my colleagues in Washington as we push for reforms in our federal spending processes so we can balance America’s checkbook and get us back on a fiscally sustainable path.”
